What to expect from this 'employment law' course
Delivered in partnership with leading law firm Clyde&Co, this interactive course addresses the uncertainties, provides guidance on how UAE employers can mitigate the impact of unforeseen events while protecting the rights of their workforce. The programme will walk you through the legal landscape of employing people in the United Arab Emirates. From recruitment to termination, it will prepare HR practitioners to successfully handle common labour law issues which arise across the country.
You will get to hear about CIPD’s latest thinking in ethical HR and going beyond legal compliance. This is a very interactive workshop with a number of real-life case studies, and a live labour-law clinic with our lead lawyer to answer all of your legal questions.
What you’ll need to do on this course
This is a two-day course, delivered on consecutive days. Each day has 4.5 hours of facilitated online learning.
You’ll take part in a blend of practical activities and facilitated discussions and will better understand employment issues in their real-life context using case studies. You’ll also participate in group discussions to explore key concepts relating to employment law advice. These will provide a framework you can analyse and apply to everyday practice – helping you navigate employment issues as and when they emerge.

At the end of this employment law course, you’ll receive a certificate.
